Open Farm Sunday
As the birthplace of modern agriculture, join us as we participate in this nationwide annual event to highlight the farming industry at Holkham. Meet members of our farming team who will show you the large, modern farm machinery they use and tell you how they work, while a display of old farming equipment will bring back memories of times gone by. Take a trailer ride to explore the area, see how our landscape team process wood for our biomass boiler, find out what happens to the sugar beet and grain that we grow, watch the sheep shearing demonstrations and meet the cows and pigs we have on the estate. With plenty of fun, quizzes and craft activities for our younger visitors, the whole family will enjoy a wonderful day out. A parking charge of £2.50 applies.
