Tuesday 6th October - 10am - FREE

Walking Women

Do you love walking but don't like to venture too far alone? Would you like to be sociable while enjoying the spectacular Holkham Estate? If so, come and join Holkham’s monthly walks. Meet at Holkham Ticket Office, normal parking charge of £2.50 applies in Holkham Park. Each walk will last approximately 1.5 hours. Well behaved and sociable dogs on leads are welcome on the walk.

Wednesday 7th & 14th October - 11am & 2pm

Deer Discovery Walks

Join us in the beautiful setting of Holkham park and take part in one of our fascinating tours as we go on a walk to discover more about the captivating red and fallow deer herd that makes Holkham its home.

Adult: £3,  Child (5-16yrs): £1. Tickets available by telephone and online.


Wednesday 14th & Saturday 24th October - 11am & 2pm

Deer Safari

An exciting opportunity for families to explore the park on a fun-filled tour where there will be a chance to see the amazing deer herd up close and learn all about their lives in Holkham park!

Adults: £3, Child £1.50. Tickets available by telephone and online.


Sunday 18th October - 11am, 1pm & 3pm

Autumn Tours of the Private Gardens

Join our Deputy Landscape Manager, Jonathan Taylor, to enjoy a wonderful opportunity to view the private gardens surrounding Holkham Hall, which are normally closed to the public.

See the spectacular arboretum with its many unusual and rare specimen trees resplendent at this time of year with their foliage in an array of autumnal tones. Booking is essential as these tours are popular. Meet in the courtyard by the ticket office. Each tour will last approximately one hour. We are sorry, but dogs are not permitted on the tours. We suggest you wear suitable footwear for walking in parkland and come prepared for all weathers.

Tuesday 20th October - 10am

National Nature Reserve Guided Walks

Join us for a series of short, gentle walks around the Holkham National Nature Reserve taking in the diverse habitats and seasonal highlights of the wildlife. From nesting lapwing in the spring to pink footed geese and fungi in the autumn, whatever the time of year there’s always lots to see.

The walk will last for approximately 2 hours. We meet and start at Lady Anne’s Drive, Holkham Beach. Due to the walks being wildlife centred, unfortunately dogs are not able to join us.

Parking is available at Lady Anne’s Drive where standard parking charges apply.

Friday 23rd October - 7pm

Chamber Music Concert - Elizabeth Watts, soprano & Julius Drake, piano

Programme: Debussy: Ariettes Oubliées, Liszt: Six songs with words by Victor Hugo, Britten: Quatre Chansons Françaises, Bridge: Six Songs.

Tickets £25 – Includes a glass of wine served in the Saloon during the interval and an opportunity to view some of the other state rooms in the Hall. Tickets available by telephone and online.


Sunday 25th to 31st October - 10am to 5pm

Halloween at Holkham

Be sure to have your costume ready for Halloween at Holkham. Pumpkin carving, fancy dress parades and much more is in store! Be prepared for ghoulish adventures, fun and frights to set your heart racing!

Included in standard admission: Hall and Walled gardens. Adult: £12.00 Child (2-16 yrs): £6.00. Family Ticket (2+3): £33.00. Walled gardens Adult: £2.50 Child (2-16 yrs): £1
